electron lights go through a vigorous testing process before you get to ride them. on our recent trip to the factory we made 22 individual improvements to the lights between two phases of pre-production. we are always looking at how to tweak things for the better! we use an integrating sphere and a spectrometer to measure the power of the lights.

we test the lights both in the design studio and in the real world. each one of us straps the light to the front of our bike and gives it some real world abuse round the busy streets of london and our secret testing grounds. we even support a low profile race team in the now famous dusk to dawn race. this tested the lights under extreme conditions for 12 hours of racing in complete darkness.

our advantage at electron is that we focus purely on the uk market, therefore we can offer a wide range of lights that we can fine tune for the long winters and short summers.
